Suit of armor, Kebiki kon-ito odoshi dō-maru. Steel, shakudō, gilded copper, brass, horn, lacquer, silk, silk brocade. Mid-18th century. Although made in the full Edo period, this exquisite dō-maru style of armor exactly replicates, in both the methods of construction and the various parts, suits of armor used during the 14th century.
